Frequently Asked Questions
For Mat teaching, begin with Mat 1 + Movement Foundations; for Reformer, begin with Reformer 1. If your goal is to teach across the full apparatus, the Comprehensive pathway can be planned from the outset.
Yes. Entry modules build from core principles. You should, however, be ready to maintain personal practice, observe classes and complete the study requirements assigned throughout the program.
Your anatomy and movement background is valuable, while the Code Pilates repertoire, teaching method and assessments must still be completed. The Education Director reviews your records and recommends the appropriate pathway.
Movement Foundations establishes functional anatomy, biomechanics, movement observation, posture and safe-teaching principles. It creates the shared professional language used across Mat, Reformer and Comprehensive education.
This entry module includes 24 hours of structured education. It combines Movement Foundations with introductory Mat repertoire, safe progressions, teaching cues and class organisation.
Mat 2 and Mat 3 advance the repertoire and develop adaptation, sequencing, observation, cueing and independent lesson-planning skills for different client needs.
Reformer 1 introduces safe teaching of the fundamental repertoire. Local regulations, employer standards and insurance requirements must also be checked; completing the full Reformer pathway provides broader competence.
Each module builds on the knowledge and practical skills of the previous level. Required practice, observation and assessment steps must be completed before progressing.
The Comprehensive pathway combines Mat, Reformer, Trapeze Table/Cadillac and Tower, Chair, Barrels, functional anatomy, self-practice, observation, practice teaching and comprehensive assessment.
Yes. Your certificates, training hours and previous curriculum are reviewed individually. A personalised bridge plan identifies any modules and assessments still required.
It means Code Pilates is listed in the NPCP School Directory as a verified program offering Mat and Comprehensive education. Verification is not school accreditation or automatic NPCP certification.
No. A Code Pilates certificate documents completion of your education pathway. NCPT is a separate professional credential requiring current NPCP eligibility, an independent application and successful examination.
Workshops approved by NPCP may award the number of CECs stated in the announcement. Each workshop card identifies its CEC status and credit amount; approval scope and validity should be checked.
All three formats may be used depending on the program. Practical apparatus modules may require in-person work and assessment; the exact format is stated in each training announcement.
Each announcement clearly states the language, country, city, time zone and attendance format. Online schedules are published in the educator’s stated local time zone.
Make-up arrangements depend on the module structure and educator calendar. Required hours and practical work must be completed for certification, so absences should be reported as early as possible.
You must complete the relevant module hours, observation, self-practice, practice teaching, assignments, payments and required assessments. Exact requirements are provided in writing for your pathway.
Included materials are shared through a secure digital area or as a printed training manual. Resources are personal and may not be copied, distributed or shared without permission.
The certificate documents your completed pathway and hours. Work rights, insurance, employer and professional requirements differ by country and must be checked for your intended location.
Each training is published with its country, currency and registration method. The fee may be displayed or marked “contact for pricing”; registration is final after payment or educator confirmation.
