Code Pilates Academy is a Dubai-based international Pilates education organization delivering science-based teacher training and continuing education programs across multiple countries. Founded by Barış Özdemir (NCPT), the Academy combines anatomy, movement science, biomechanics, and practical teaching methodology within an internationally developed education system.
Since 2010, Barış Özdemir has actively contributed to the education of Pilates instructors, continuously refining a science-based teaching methodology focused on anatomy, movement analysis, biomechanics, and practical application. This educational philosophy became the foundation of Code Pilates Academy and continues to guide its international teacher training programs today.
Comprehensive Education and Professional Recognition
In 2013, Barış Özdemir completed internationally recognized comprehensive Pilates teacher training programs, becoming one of the early Comprehensive Pilates educators in Türkiye. This milestone established a strong scientific and professional foundation that continues to shape the educational standards of Code Pilates Academy today.
Foundation of Code Pilates Academy
In 2016, Barış Özdemir founded Code Pilates Academy with a vision of delivering science-based Pilates education rooted in anatomy, movement science, biomechanics, and evidence-informed teaching principles. Since then, the Academy has grown into a Dubai-based international education organization, providing teacher training, continuing education, and educator development programs across multiple countries.
Certifications and International Standards
Committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence, Barış Özdemir has earned internationally recognized qualifications, including the Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) credential and REPs UAE registration. Through Code Pilates Academy, he also delivers NPCP-approved Continuing Education (CEC) workshops, supporting Pilates professionals in maintaining and advancing their professional qualifications. These achievements reflect an ongoing commitment to evidence-based education, international standards, and continuous professional development
Development of Educational Programs
Over the course of his career, Barış Özdemir has continuously developed educational programs based on anatomy, movement science, biomechanics, and practical teaching methodology. Today, Code Pilates Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes teacher training, continuing education workshops, educator development programs, and specialized courses designed to support the long-term professional growth of Pilates instructors. Many of these continuing education workshops are approved by the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) for Continuing Education Credits (CEC).
Current Position and Teaching Philosophy
Following an international teaching chapter that included serving as a Balanced Body Master Instructor and Educator in Türkiye and Dubai during 2025 and 2026, Barış Özdemir chose to continue independently through the Code Pilates education system.
Today, Code Pilates Academy is a Dubai-headquartered international Pilates education organization, delivering teacher training, continuing education, and educator development programs in Türkiye, across Europe, and in multiple countries worldwide. Its educational philosophy combines anatomy, movement science, biomechanics, practical teaching experience, and evidence-informed principles to prepare knowledgeable, confident, and responsible Pilates professionals.
