Pilates Teacher Training in Istanbul: Mat and Reformer

Pilates teacher training in Istanbul lets you build Mat and Reformer teaching skills step by step. Code Pilates Academy runs its Istanbul courses in person with Master Educator Kübra Çay. Alongside the starting modules, the announced Istanbul calendar also lists advanced Mat, Reformer and Trapeze Table modules, so a trainee living in Istanbul can plan a large part of the pathway in one city.

The calendar on this page covers courses held in Istanbul only. Each course page shows the exact studio, daily hours, language and attendance requirements. Istanbul courses are currently taught in Turkish; check the language on each course card before you enrol.

Istanbul Pilates teacher training calendar

Announced Istanbul courses are listed below. Open a course card to check the module content, dates, daily hours, educator, studio and teaching language. Confirm the prerequisites of advanced modules before you register.

No suitable date, or no course shown? Tell us which Istanbul course you are interested in. Include the module, your previous training and the periods that suit you. We will go through the announced options with you; we do not promise a date or venue for a course that has not been announced.

Which modules can you plan in Istanbul?

The courses announced for Istanbul cover several steps of the Code Pilates pathway:

  • MAT 1 + Movement Foundations: breathing, alignment, movement observation, functional anatomy and the beginner Mat repertoire.
  • Reformer 1: connecting Mat principles to work on the apparatus and planning beginner-level classes.
  • MAT 2 and MAT 3, Reformer 2 and Reformer 3: advanced repertoire and teaching skills; confirm the prerequisites with your educator before registering.
  • Trapeze Table: a separate module for trainees who want to extend their apparatus training.

Which module is open in a given period depends on the cards in the calendar. Choose your starting point with your educator, based on your current experience. You can see the full Mat, Reformer and Comprehensive pathways on the teacher training page.

Educator and host studios in Istanbul

Kübra Çay is a Code Pilates Academy Master Educator who works with trainees in Istanbul. Her courses focus on observing movement, analysing exercises and teaching with clear cues.

In the announced Istanbul courses, Mec Pilates Studio and Core&Fit Pilates Studio are the host studios. The course page states which studio hosts each course and its current address; check it before you register.

Travelling to Istanbul for training

Travel time within Istanbul varies a lot with the district and the time of day. Plan your route to the studio together with the daily start and end times and the requirement to attend every training day.

If you are coming from another city or country, confirm all the days of the module, your accommodation and your return before you register. When modules are announced on consecutive weekends, it may be possible to plan more than one module in the same period; ask about the prerequisite, capacity and registration status of each module separately.

Entry requirements, manual and certificate

The general entry requirements are being at least 18 years old and having completed secondary school (high school) or equivalent. If you trained at another school before, ask which starting point suits you before you register.

For in-person courses, your printed training manual is handed to you on the first day; it is not sent as a digital file or PDF. The attendance or completion document given at the end of a module shows that you attended and completed that course. A single module does not mean full teacher certification, a licence or a right to teach. The Code Pilates Comprehensive pathway includes a written and practical final exam after the 520-hour curriculum and the required stages are completed.

A Code Pilates certificate is for personal and professional development; it does not authorise anyone to open an official branch or studio in any city or country.

How to ask about fees and registration

Use the contact link on the course card you are interested in to ask about current fees, places and payment options. Mention “Istanbul”, the module name and your preferred dates in your message.

Before you register, confirm what the fee covers, the attendance rules and the cancellation and postponement terms. If Istanbul does not suit you, see the full training calendar, which also lists courses in Dubai and other cities. Write to us to plan your Istanbul training.
