Every NCPT renews every two years with 16 NPCP-approved CECs. Code Pilates Academy CEC workshops are live and listed at 3 NPCP CECs each — in person in Dubai and Türkiye, or live online with your camera on. Here is how to plan the full cycle without a gap.
The renewal rule, in plain terms
NPCP requires 16 NPCP-approved CECs within each two-year renewal period for the NCPT credential, and 8 CECs for the NPCP Pilates Mat certification. One content hour equals one CEC. Live-streamed workshops count as live CECs, so an online workshop with real-time participation is treated the same as an in-person one. Pre-recorded video, reading and self-study do not qualify unless a course has been separately approved by NPCP as distance learning with an assessment. CECs do not roll over to the next cycle, and NPCP does not keep your records: you upload your CEC certificates with the renewal application, which you can submit up to six months before your expiry date.
How Code Pilates workshops fit into your 16 CECs
Each Code Pilates Academy CEC workshop is listed at 3 NPCP CECs. Because 16 is not divisible by 3, five workshops give 15 CECs — one short. Six workshops give 18 CECs and complete the requirement with a margin. For the Pilates Mat certification, three workshops give 9 CECs against the 8 required.
All Code Pilates CEC workshops are delivered live, so they fall under NPCP’s live category, which can cover the full 16 CECs. There is no separate cap on live online attendance. Every workshop on this page is Pilates content, so no category limit applies.
NPCP issues CEC approval per workshop, valid for one year from the approval date. Keep the CEC certificate you receive after each workshop; you upload it with your renewal application.
A simple two-year plan
- Year 1 — three workshops (9 CECs). Start with the topics closest to your current clients: pregnancy, scoliosis or spinal conditions.
- Year 2 — three workshops (9 CECs). Add programming and flow topics.
- Total — 18 CECs from six workshops, with time to spare before your renewal window closes.
Prefer to finish sooner? Six workshops in one year work just as well, as long as every date falls inside your current two-year period.

What live participation means
- 100% attendance is required; partial attendance is not certified.
- Online: your camera stays on for the whole session.
- Workshops are not recorded.
- Materials arrive as a PDF before the workshop, after full payment.
- Your certificate of participation, stating the NPCP CECs, is issued in English as a PDF within 7 business days.
- The teaching language (English or Turkish) is stated on each workshop date.
What does not count towards NCPT renewal
Code Online Studio is our recorded video library. Its participation certificates support your own study, but they are not NPCP CECs, because NPCP does not accept pre-recorded content for renewal. If you need CECs, choose a live workshop date.
Before you register — a short checklist
- Note your NCPT expiry date; renewal opens six months before it.
- Count the NPCP-approved CECs you already hold in this cycle.
- Choose enough live workshops to reach 16 — six Code Pilates workshops cover it.
- Check each workshop’s NPCP approval window on the workshop page or the NPCP CEC Calendar.
- Save every certificate as a PDF; NPCP asks for copies, not screenshots.

What happens if my NCPT expires?
NPCP allows a six-month grace period with an additional fee; after that, the exam must be retaken. Check the NPCP renewal page for current fees.
How do I prove attendance?
With the certificate we issue within 7 business days, which states the NPCP CECs. Upload it with your renewal application.
