Barış Özdemir is a Balanced Body® UAE Master Instructor and the Founder of Code Pilates Academy. With over 15 years of international experience in Pilates instruction and teacher training, he integrates a physiotherapy-based and science-driven movement approach into the Pilates system. Through his unique methodology, which combines global standards across all Pilates apparatus training, this workshop is designed to equip professional instructors with safe, effective, and high-level teaching skills.
Planning the first Pilates session is one of the most important skills for any instructor. This workshop teaches how to structure the first session and create safe, effective, and individualized programs.
First, participants learn how to assess new clients. They explore posture, movement patterns, and basic limitations. As a result, they understand how to build a strong starting point for every session.
Next, the workshop focuses on planning the first Pilates session in a clear and structured way. Participants learn how to choose exercises, set priorities, and create a logical session flow.
In addition, the workshop explains how to create individualized programs. Instructors learn how to adapt exercises based on different needs, goals, and levels.
Moreover, participants apply these concepts using both Mat and equipment-based exercises. This improves practical understanding and supports real teaching situations.
Each concept is explained in a simple and direct format. Therefore, instructors can immediately apply what they learn and improve their confidence in real sessions.
Finally, this workshop is part of Code Pilates Academy’s professional education system and is approved within NPCP standards. It supports instructors in building safe, structured, and effective sessions from the first meeting.
