Pilates-programmering voor mensen met scoliose

This workshop focuses on developing safe, effective, and individualized Pilates programming strategies for individuals with scoliosis within the professional scope of Pilates instruction. Participants will explore the fundamental principles of scoliosis, common postural patterns, and movement asymmetries, and how these factors influence exercise selection and program design.
Emphasis is placed on observation, functional assessment, and logical decision-making rather than diagnosis or medical treatment. The workshop includes both theoretical and practical components and demonstrates how Pilates equipment can be used to support alignment, improve movement awareness, and create balanced programs for scoliosis clients.
Programming examples will be presented using various Pilates apparatus, including Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Mat. This course is designed for Pilates instructors seeking to improve their confidence and clarity when working with scoliosis clients by applying structured programming principles and safe movement strategies.
